For the POLYTEC team, certification according to the environmental norm DIN EN 14001:2004 is simply the basis of its environmental commitment.
Over and above that the company practices an environmental and energy management which actively identifies improvement and saving possibilities, and also realises these in project teams.
Of central importance to the POLYTEC environmental officers: The utilization of waste heat resulting from production. Thanks to a waste heat recovery system, heat that was previously unused now heats the water for the PowerWash plant.
POLYTEC also illustrates responsibility with regard to exhaust air: A thermal afterburning removes harmful substances. Furthermore, POLYTEC is a member of the Bavarian Environmental Pact.
